One of the most ominous structures in the history of AEW Dynamite is set for a grand return, next week. Coming off this week’s episode, we also now know who will participate in that match. As announced earlier, the fifth and final participants for the two groups – The Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite set to collide in AEW Blood & Guts Match have been revealed.

As seen on AEW Dynamite, Don Callis primarily attempted to recruit Chris Jericho from the Jericho Appreciation Society and join The Don Callis Family. During a backstage segment with Renee Paquette, Callis said that he would reveal the final member at the end of the night and claimed he’d be alone. Then in the announcement segment, he was found cutting a promo on Omega. Omega came out to the ring and immediately fended off Jon Moxley and Takeshita.

But soon, Omega was attacked by a returning PAC on AEW Dynamite. Omega was taken into the ring where he was brutally attacked. PAC, fka Neville in WWE then grabbed a mic and informed that he’s been waiting for this moment, for a long time. Plus, PAC also revealed to be the fifth member of The BCC, “shattered my nose bone and you extorted me from my championship…I’m the fifth member and now you pay the price!”

A Japanese veteran to debut on next week’s AEW Dynamite

As Omega was laid out with a chair around his neck, Callis asked if he wished to have any last words. Omega then reminded that The Elite also had a fifth member reserved as they had to move their attention to the big screen. A video played on the tron placed on AEW Dynamite, informing that it will be Kota Ibushi to join The Elite.

Last week, on AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega declared that someone outside the USA territory will be joining them and since then the Former NJPW World Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi was rumored to be joining his group. The speculations turned out to be true as the Japanese veteran will finally make his AEW debut, next week.

At Double or Nothing 2023, The Elite was defeated by The BCC in Anarchy in the Arena match. Afterward at Forbidden Door 2023, The Elite (sans Omega) with Eddie Kingston and Tomohiro Ishii defeated The BCC, Takeshita, and Shota Umino in a 5-on-5 matchup, meaning that the Blood & Guts Match on next week’s AEW Dynamite will be a rubber match between the two groups.
