Former WWE Champions Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose will form a tag team on the next episode of AEW Dynamite. Respectively going by the name of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley, the two will be one of the headliners of the 2022 edition of the St. Patrick’s Day Slam but not as opponents.
As noted on this week’s Rampage, Danielson and Moxley will team up again on AEW Dynamite, with former WWE NXT General Manager William Regal back in their corner. They will go up against the team of Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta, who will have Danhausen and Orange Cassidy in their corner.
AEW Dynamite: Steel Cage Title Match And More Announced
Moxley defeated Danielson at last Sunday night’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view. They were never on the same page before until it was for a debuting Regal who slapped both these superstars and advised them to form the tag team.
Then on this week’s AEW Dynamite, Moxley and Danielson defeated JD Drake and Anthony Henry in tag team action to prove the theory of Regal, right. WWE released William Regal and several other longtime employees on January 5 as a part of their budget cut policy related to WWE NXT and WWE Performance Center staff. Regal had spent 21 years with the WWE but now he is likely to be the manager for the ex-top WWE Superstars.
AEW Dynamite’s March 16 episode already had a Women’s World Title match set to be the main event where the hometown favorite Thunder Rosa will challenge Britt Baker. This match will mark the one-year anniversary of their critically acclaimed bout from last year’s St. Patrick’s Day episode.

Next Wednesday’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam edition of AEW Dynamite will take place at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The currently confirmed card for the night stands as follows,

* AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express vs. Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly

* AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker defends against hometown star Thunder Rosa in a Steel Cage
