The ongoing feud over the AEW World Title continued during this week’s AEW Dynamite. Adam Cole made his intentions clear on the episode, proclaiming that he won’t stop going after Adam ‘Hangman’ Page and his title until he becomes the new AEW World Champion.
Cole also advised Hangman to find partners for a trios match set for next week, which we later discovered to be the reigning AEW tag team champions. Adam Cole will now align with his former Undisputed Era partners from WWE, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish to compete in the tag team action against ‘Hangman’ Page, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus on AEW Dynamite.

During last night’s AEW Dynamite episode a hard-hitting match between Thunder Rosa and Leyla Hirsch went down to determine the number-one contender for the AEW Women’s World Title. Rosa won that match and was booked for one more shot at the Championship held by Britt Baker. Rose had a failed attempt in capturing the title at the bygone AEW Revolution PPV.
AEW Dynamite to witness a historic match
After her victory, Tony Schiavone announced that Rosa and Baker will compete in a steel cage match for the championship. Thus Rosa gets the title match opportunity in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas on a night that is dubbed as the St. Patrick’s Day slam. It was one year ago at the 2021 St. Patrick’s Day Slam event on AEW Dynamite that the two featured in a brutal Lights Out match that is often considered benchmark performances by the two women wrestlers.
After becoming the winner of the Face of the Revolution ladder match at last Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view event, Wardlow earned a title match opportunity at the TNT Championship. Now, he will go one-on-one with the winner of last night’s TNT Championship match, Scorpio Sky, next week on AEW Dynamite. Sky defeated Sammy Guevera in a match filled with shenanigans to become the new TNT Champion.
