The May 10 episode of AEW Dynamite from Detroit, Michigan is going to be a pretty big one featuring a loaded card for the episode. Over on last Wednesday’s Dynamite, a Steel Cage Match was already announced. Then, during last night’s Rampage, more high-stakes matchups were announced including another gimmick match.
It was confirmed that House of Black will be defending their AEW World Trios Championships against Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) and Bandido on the May 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

House of Black defeated The Elite at Revolution on March 5 to become World Trios Champions for the first time. Since winning the belt, they’ve successfully defended the belt in a three-way match against the Jericho Appreciation Society and The Elite on the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, and then again on the April 5 episode against Best Friends and Orange Cassidy.

This Wednesday, the trios title match will be contested under a little different situation as the champions will be defending their titles under ‘Open House’ rules. There will be 20-second count-outs as opposed to the usual ten seconds in a wrestling match and no rope breaks during submission maneuvers will also be allowed. It was also insisted that the match might eventually end up becoming a “no disqualification” contest.
Apart from the title match on AEW Dynamite, Julia Hart and Anna Jay will battle in a No Holds Barred match to settle their rivalry. Also, Claudio Catagnoli vs. Rey Fenix was booked as a Double Jeopardy match as the stipulation says that the winner will get a shot at the loser’s title. Besides Christian Cage has also been announced to make an appearance for a promo like FTR.
