However, it was Penta El Zero Miedo who came out and wasted no time to lay down a challenge to Copeland. Afterward, it was confirmed that Adam Copeland would put his TNT Championship on the line against the formidable challenger Miedo in a thrilling singles encounter. Copeland agreed to the title match after Miedo asserted that the ‘Rated R Superstar’ should face more competitors in AEW.

Since arriving at All Elite Wrestling, last October, Adam Copeland has been engaged in a bitter rivalry against Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite. The final chapter in their feud unfolded in March as the two met in the third singles encounter with the TNT Championship hanging in the balance.

AEW Dynamite: Adam Copeland won the TNT Title on the March 20 episode

In the main event of the March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Adam Copeland made Christian Cage say ‘I Quit’ in the main event bout. In a gruesome match that was the headliner of this special episode the former 11-time world champion thus got to become a two-time TNT Champion in All Elite Wrestling.

After multiple interferences from Patriarchy members, Cage was handcuffed in the corner alongside the latter’s allies, Nick Wayne and Killswitch. Afterward, Copeland took out his prized weapon, a barbed wire baseball bat named Spike, and went low on Cage. After he attempted to hit Cage with the Spike in the head, Cage stated I Quit to conclude the match on AEW Dynamite.
