Following her second title win at Double or Nothing, Toni Storm will go through her first title defense on AEW Dynamite, next week. The newly crowned AEW Women’s World Champion is yet to receive her first TV challenger as a match on this week’s Rampage will decide the name.
As announced during AEW Dynamite, multiple matches for the upcoming Rampage episode have been announced for this Friday night. One of those confirmed matches will feature four top female AEW talents battling it out for the number-one contender’s match.

Mercedes Martinez vs. Nyla Rose vs. Britt Baker vs. Skye Blue will be the lineup for Rampage. The winner of this match will get an AEW Women’s World Title Shot from Toni Storm on AEW Dynamite, next week. As noted above, this will be Storm’s first title defense on TV since winning the women’s title from Jamie Hayter during AEW Double or Nothing PPV on May 29.

After winning the belt, Storm kicked off her second reign by defending her title against Skye Blue at an AEW House Rules live event at the Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi on June 2. Going by this match, Blue could very well end up securing a title match opportunity for next week’s AEW Dynamite.
Plus, Britt Baker remains a valid name in the equation since her ongoing feud with Storm and the rest of The Outcasts’ members remains unsolved. However, a big title match featuring her could be postponed for upcoming bigger events like Forbidden Door or All In scheduled for September.
