The reigning AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF doesn’t regularly compete on AEW Dynamite, very often. But next week, she will compete in the potential main event of the show when he takes on a Japanese sensation in a non-title encounter. The match was set up via what transpired last night where MJF attempted to interfere in his current rival’s match.
The possible next challenger for MJF, Bryan Danielson competed in a match against a debuting Timothy Thatcher on AEW Dynamite. As The Devil was trying to intervene, he was stopped in his tracks by Konosuke Takeshita who was already defeated by Bryan, a week ago.

MJF had a brawl on Dynamite
The two eventually brawled to the backstage area after which AEW broadcaster Renee Paquette informed the reigning champion that AEW President Tony Khan had booked him into a non-title match against the Japanese star.
This match will also be a part of the ongoing world title eliminator match next week on AEW Dynamite. Following the announcement, MJF sent a stern warning to Takeshita by taking to Twitter and stating that he will regret backing up Bryan.

It should be noted that Bryan is hell-bent on getting an Iron Man matchup with MJF at AEW Revolution for the AEW World Title. But in order to do so, Bryan will have to keep his ongoing winning streak intact.
Two title matches set for Dynamite
Apart from MJF’s match, another world title eliminator series will be happening on AEW Dynamite as Jamie Hayter takes on The Bunny. Plus, The Acclaimed will defend their World Tag Team Championship against The Gunns.
