AEW Full Gear is the next big event scheduled to happen from All Elite Wrestling Wrestling following the annual All Out tradition, this weekend. There’ve been a lot of speculations about the date and location of the formerly mentioned event. It seems that the promotion has thought of also a location and timing for the show. Which will be let known, shortly.

AEW Full Gear is traditionally done in November, and that month still remains the scheduled time for the event. Sean Sapp Ross from Fightful revealed behind his paywall that some staff and talent learned in early August that the event’s 2022 edition is planned to take place in Newark, New Jersey.

Fightful’s sources weren’t given an exact date for AEW Full Gear. But going by the past three years, the event has fallen on either the first or second Saturday in November. It also makes sense for the show rollout in Newark since the company has had a few shows in that area. Episodes of Dynamite, Rampage, and Dark: Elevation were taped in the city’s Prudential Center.

“Thus far, All Elite Wrestling’s November tradition Full Gear doesn’t have a host city or venue announced. However, several talent and staff were informed in early August that the working plan was for the show to take place in Newark, New Jersey in early November. No firm date was given was given for the show to those that we’ve spoken to,” the source informed.

Before heading to AEW Full Gear 2022, the promotion has previously been to Newark twice, running from the Prudential Center last September, one week before the AEW Grand Slam edition of Dynamite at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Then again, the January 5 episode which was the first one to air on TBS took place at the same venue. The latter event saw “Hangman” Adam Page defeat Bryan Danielson to retain the AEW World Championship in a rematch from AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming.

The first AEW show in Newark reportedly had 14,000 people in attendance which was pretty good. At this point, The Prudential Center is the most logical choice for AEW Full Gear. However, it’s yet to be confirmed since AEW hasn’t made an official announcement on it.
