The latest episode of AEW Dynamite started with a qualifying match for the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Jeff Hardy and Bobby Fish, two of the former WWE Superstars who are majorly known for their tag team skills, competed in a one-on-one bout to determine the next participant for the inaugural Owen Cup trophy.
As seen in that match, multiple big spots were there to make it an entertaining bout. Fish executed a falcon arrow off the top rope to Jeff Hardy but that wasn’t enough to keep the veteran wrestler, down. In the end, “The Charismatic Enigma” ended up defeating Bobby Fish with his signature Swanton Bomb off the top rope and thereby qualifying for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

The quick-paced and high-flying bout ended with Fenix hitting a brutal variation of a Michinoku driver to send Dante head-first into the ring mat to secure the pinfall win. Thereby Fenix has now officially entered the fray.
