AJ Styles is staying under the WWE banner for some more years. The top superstar from the Monday Night Raw brand has reportedly signed a multi-million dollar contract with the company, as reported in recent times by sources. While the length of the contract has not been revealed, it’s a multi-year deal with the WWE that is expected to last at least a couple of years.
In an update to the situation, Fightful Select has reported that AJ Styles will be getting more than $3 million per year when he put his signature to the dotted lines. He will also receive some additional bus travel accommodations from WWE via this new contract.

A WWE source noted that AJ Styles “deserved every penny” and it’s fair to think that a top star like him will “easily make that back for the company.” Since the former WWE Champion is 44 years old, this newly signed deal is supposed to be his last contract with the company.
“We weren’t given a time length, besides the fact that it was a multi-year deal.
His original contract was set to expire in the Spring/Summer, and would have had him hit free agency for the first time since leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.”

AJ Styles is happy with his position in WWE
It was also noted that AJ Styles is very happy with his status in the WWE and that he may continue to work with the company even after this deal expires and he stops his tenure as a professional wrestler. Plus, WWE also wanted to get his deal extended before he could even hit free agency and starts talking to anyone else.

The original WWE contract of the Phenomenal One was set to expire in the spring/summer and he would have had him hit free agency, later this year following Wrestlemania. This would have also made him a free agent since leaving NJPW before he signed with WWE in January 2016. But WWE expected to have plenty of suitors for AJ Styles and hence they assured his position to be intact as early as possible.
AJ is a two-time WWE Champion in his career who has also become a Grand Slam Champion last year at Wrestlemania 37 by winning the Raw Tag Team Champions.
