Alexa Bliss is one of the top female superstars of the WWE Raw women’s division who’s been absent from the scene. She was last seen in a match against then Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules in September. Despite having some dark powers, that match didn’t end the way Bliss would have liked as she lost in quick fashion against The Queen.
Plus, WWE also played an angle where Flair destroyed Alexa Bliss’ Lilly doll after the match in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Apparently, this helped in writing the former champion off the television. It now seems that she has an update for her fanbase regarding her return to WWE.

Alexa Bliss is absent since Extreme Rules 2021
Wrestling Inc reported back in September following Extreme Rules that Alexa Bliss would be taking time off for “a few months.” In a follow-up, PWInsider then noted that the veteran star was scheduled to undergo sinus surgery. WWE never opened up about this ongoing hiatus or the reason behind it. But they did include her into the Draft 2021 pool as a result of which she was picked up by the red brand.

There’s no update available on a potential return for Alexa Bliss, as of now. Fans have been chattering during this absence of her on how the Royal Rumble in January would provide an ideal setting for her to make a return since she would end up receiving a loud ovation from a huge audience at The Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.
Amidst the discussions of her impending return, Alexa Bliss also took to Twitter a few weeks ago and uploaded a GIF that hinted at her on-screen character undergoing a huge transformation. Many WWE fans now believe that she might bring back her old character. Now that the controversial Lilly storyline is done, perhaps we will get to see The Goddess back on WWE Raw upon her return. However, it’s just a case of assumption, for now.
