Since her debut on the main roster in 2016, Alexa Bliss has been a significant part of WWE programming let alone on the WWE roster. With a relatively short physique, fans really doubted whether she can co-exist or not with her colleagues but being a five-time women’s champion, she had already left her own legacy in the WWE. Besides, she is also one of the most popular female superstars on the WWE roster.
Unlike most of the WWE Superstars, Alexa Bliss had undergone tons of changes in character that includes a dark character possessed by Bray Wyatt. Starting in 2020, we have been seeing this dark version of the former Little Miss Bliss who had done several strange things on TV. Besides, she also holds the accolade of wrestling a top male superstar in a singles outing in a pay-per-view event.
WWE Raw: Alexa Bliss Says, “I’m Not Afraid Of Uncle Howdy”
It happened at the Fastlane PLE in March 2021 where Alexa Bliss got the chance to compete against Randy Orton. The match did witness a lot of supernatural elements, including Bliss throwing a fireball at the 14-time world champion’s face. The finish also saw Bray Wyatt returning to WWE TV under The Fiend gimmick.
Alexa Bliss thinks it’s pretty cool to be hit with an RKO
Speaking in an interview with BT Sport, Alexa Bliss admitted that first and foremost, she was shocked to get a chance to wrestle one of the all-time greats in the wrestling business. It wasn’t easy to digest the most dangerous finisher RKO but then again, it feels pretty cool for her to say people that she was hit with an RKO,
“Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a match with Randy Orton. I have to say, this might be one of my favorite matches that I’ve ever done. This was cool, this was a fun, super fun match. I feel like this has to be one of my favorites. I will tell you, taking an RKO is not fun, but it’s pretty cool to say you’ve taken an RKO before.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
That storyline featuring Alexa Bliss, Randy Orton, and Bray Wyatt came to a close at WrestleMania 37 in what marked Wyatt’s final match before he was released by the WWE. However, he was brought back by the Triple H-led regime in the WWE and his previous alliance with the multi-time women’s champion has since been rekindled.
