Alexa Bliss had been a big part of the storyline involving The Fiend Bray Wyatt starting in mid-2020. The association was highly praised but Vince McMahon completely scrapped the gimmick after Wyatt’s release from the WWE in early 2021. The release came just after Wyatt was betrayed by her at Wrestlemania 37 during his match against Randy Orton.
Apparently, Wyatt never forgot the betrayal he had suffered at the hands of Alexa Bliss by the end of his first run in the WWE. Now that he’s back in the company, he either wants to seek revenge or else he wants to reform the alliance as we’ve learned during last night’s Crown Jewel premium live event.
Crown Jewel 2022: Reason Brock Lesnar Attacked By Bobby Lashley At WWE PLE
Alexa Bliss and Asuka cut a promo on Dakota Kai and IYO SKY ahead of their Women’s Tag Team Championship defense at Crown Jewel. During the promo, Bray Wyatt’s moth logo appeared on the screen just next to Bliss. The top WWE female superstar got visibly confused or rather hypnotized for a moment before she got back to her senses and continue the interview.

Alexa Bliss possibly joining Bray Wyatt’s new faction?
More interestingly, it appeared that the moth logo only aired to distract Alexa Bliss because neither Asuka nor the interviewer Byron Saxton was affected by it. WWE has recently been teasing new characters for Bray Wyatt’s current angle that is likely to bring in a new faction consisting of new characters. Wyatt also appeared at Crown Jewel, last night indicating that he will be back as The Fiend in the near future.
Alexa Bliss recently won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Asuka on this week’s Raw. They defended those titles at Crown Jewel against Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY but they ended up losing the titles via Nikki Cross’ interference. There’s a reason behind this title change at the Saudi PLE and it will be interesting to see how things move forward from this week onward.
Also, during a segment aired on this past episode of Friday Night Smackdown, a woman’s face was shown on the screen for a split second during Bray Wyatt’s promo. This made fans speculate that Alexa Bliss could be the one with face paint on. However, that image was shot by renowned professional photographer Sergey Gribanov and can be downloaded from Storyblocks.
