Alexa Bliss hasn’t been seen on WWE programming for more than six months but this hiatus is happening for a good reason. What started as a time-off for a minor surgical procedure, turned out to be pregnancy hiatus. As informed by the WWE Superstar, a few months ago, she’s expecting a baby with her husband, Ryan Cabrera. A couple of days ago, the gender of the baby was also revealed to be a girl.
During her absence from WWE TV, Alexa Bliss appeared on The Masked Singer and also kept herself busy with numerous appearances on TV shows. While the pregnancy news made her fans and friends happy, there were speculations regarding her time in the WWE. Reports also claimed that the deal between her and WWE could be coming to an end.
Why Alexa Bliss Invited A WWE Legend Into Her Bedroom?
Previously, speaking with The Messenger, Alexa Bliss revealed that WWE gave her time off to be a part of The Masked Singer show and she’s grateful for the opportunity. She also added that the company has extended her contract which could initiate her return to TV as soon as possible after her baby delivery in late 2023.
Alexa Bliss wants to take her time before making WWE return
During that interview, Alexa Bliss further added that she plans on preparing for an in-ring return as soon as her health permits. But in the latest, it appears that The Goddess wants to take it slow when it comes to the competition. After going through various changes in the body due to pregnancy, she does want to take it slow. Here’s more on what she said in the latest conversation with The Messenger,
“I probably won’t bounce back as fast as I hope. I’m going to get to working out and doing all that stuff and get to where I need to be, you know, to have time. [I’ll have] the first fundamental months with the baby before thinking about trying to rush back to work.”
Being such a popular superstar, WWE Universe continues to miss their favorite Alexa Bliss as she gears up for a new chapter in life. The last time she was seen on WWE TV was at Royal Rumble 2023 in January and she’s not returning until Wrestlemania 40, at the earliest.
