Alexa Bliss was kept off WWE television since the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on February 19th. That night also marked her comeback since the Extreme Rules event back in September 2021. As WWE used her only for a one-off show and that too to get squashed at the hands of Bianca Belair, fans were really worried about her status as a WWE Superstar.
Thankfully, Alexa Bliss returned to action, last month after going through her marriage with Ryan Cabrera (the event took place at the Kempa Villa in Palm Desert, California, on April 9) and reported sinus surgery. The previous Goddess version of the superstar is yet to come back on TV and it appears that she misses that version, too.
WWE Raw: Alexa Bliss Implies Her New Theme Music ‘Gonna Stay A Little Bit’
Alexa Bliss took to Twitter in recent times and posted a message that gave an insight into her mind. She simply wrote, “To be fair … I miss that version of me too.” Nothing specific was noted with that post but we can assume that the older version isn’t returning, anytime soon. With new entrance music, the new babyface persona with the Lilly doll by her side will be kept intact, for the time being.

Alexa Bliss’ on-screen character went through major changes
As noted above, Alexa Bliss returned to WWE programming for the first time since February’s Elimination Chamber as she competed on the May 10 episode of Raw. On that night, she defeated Sonya Deville who was just removed from her duties as an official. The very next week, Deville again suffered another loss in a booked rematch between the two.
The Goddess of the WWE character underwent a major change following a cinematic swamp fight match between Braun Strowman and The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules 2020. Alexa Bliss was shown as Strowman’s love interest in that match who would go on to make an ally with The Fiend. She would eventually betray The Fiend in his match against Randy Orton on Night Two of WrestleMania 37 and got into a solo act, moving forward.
Alexa Bliss is yet to move into the top title picture in the WWE since coming back but with Money in the Bank and Summerslam waiting, this summer, WWE is likely to use this prominent figure more in their top storylines.
