At All Out 2023, Darby Allin got the chance to become a three-time TNT Champion in All Elite Wrestling history but he will have to wait to earn that accolade. One of the four pillars of AEW programming went up against Luchasaurus for the mid-card belt at the latest PPV event of the AEW but came up short.
For most of the match that went down at All Out 2023 in Chicago, Luchasaurus was in control with Christian Cage standing at ringside to throw in some shenanigans while Allin had Nick Wayne watching his back. This is due to the ongoing angle from AEW Dynamite where Cage has been feuding with Allin and as he wants to destroy Allin.
During the end of this match at All Out 2023, Cage was going to hit Allin with a chair, but in a massive surprise, it was Shawn Spears who came out to make the save. It was Spears who tried to win the title back in July at Battle of the Belts VII. But Shawn was eventually taken out of the equation.
As Allin struggled to his feet and hit the top rope, Christian hit Nick Wayne with a chair, distracting Darby and threatening him for a Con-chair-to. Luchasaurus then hit Darby with a series of Tombstone Piledrivers followed by a Lariat to the back of the head to secure the pinfall win.

All Out 2023: Samoa Joe retains his ROH TV Title at AEW PPV
In another singles title match at All Out 2023, former WWE Superstar Samoa Joe defeated Shane Taylor to retain his title. After a back-and-forth match that saw the two exchanging furious strikes, Taylor countered Joe with a Hanging Stunner. Taylor climbed to the middle rope and hit a splash for a near fall. Joe eventually came back at Taylor with an elbow, followed by clutch knees. Then the Samoan Submission Machine submitted Taylor with the Rear Naked Choke hold for the win.
Before he won his match against Taylor, Joe had an altercation with AEW World Champion MJF at All Out 2023. Joe came out to the ring right after AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole retained their ROH World Tag Team Titles against The Dark Order. During the entrance, Joe pushed MJF, which caused MJF to attack him from behind and ensue a fight.
