The historic title run of Orange Cassidy with the International Championship has come to an end at All Out 2023. In the main event of the latest bygone pay-per-view event conducted by All Elite Wrestling, Jon Moxley defeated the most fighting champion that AEW has ever witnessed to capture his first International Title.
After coming to the main event segment in a thunderous ovation from the All Out 2023 audience, Orange Cassidy did put up a good fight against Jon Moxley but he still lost the AEW International Championship to the Blackpool Combat Club member.
The finish of the match saw Cassidy going full steam on Moxley with some big kicks while the latter came back with a series of lariats for a near fall. Mox then hit the Death Rider for another pinfall. Cassidy sat back and flipped off the bird to receive another Death Rider from Mox to digest the pinfall loss at All Out 2023.

After the match, BCC members came out to congratulate Mox for this win. Mox was covered in Cassidy’s blood as Bryan Danielson also joined in the celebration from his match. As the group escorted Mox out of the arena, Cassidy was lying back in the ring. As he sat back, the All Out 2023 gave him a standing ovation for all his efforts. A “Thank You, Orange” chant ended the show from Chicago.
Before dropping the belt at All Out 2023, Cassidy had a historic run with the AEW International Championship for 327 days. He won the title on October 12, 2022, by defeating PAC on AEW Dynamite. As the reigning champion, Cassidy defended the title over 30 times and against names like Lance Archer, NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr., Buddy Matthews, Jeff Jarrett, Rey Fenix, and Jay Lethal. Back at this year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, he survived 20 wrestlers in a Blackjack Battle Royale to survive.
Meanwhile. Moxley started his first run as the AEW International Champion at All Out 2023. He is the only three-time AEW World Champion in the history of All Elite Wrestling. Apart from Moxley, his Blackpool Combat Club cohort Bryan Danielson won his strap match against Ricky Starks at last night’s PPV event.
