We haven’t seen one of the most promising Superstars of the WWE roster, Andrade for more than four months, now. He was part of the red brand of WWE before going into hiatus and the company never addressed the reason behind the same. It seems he could be returning to the brand that gave him initial fame, instead of coming back to Raw.
If a recent tweet is any indication, then Andrade could be going back to NXT. El-Idolo shared a picture of him holding the NXT Championship on his Twitter page. Although no caption was provided with it, the insider belief is that he would love to go back to Wednesday nights to do something significant.

Andrade hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since the 2020 edition of WWE Draft in October. At that point, he and his former valet Zelina Vega were attacked by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss before getting written off the TV. Later, Vega has since been fired by WWE and since then we haven’t spotted his client on TV.

Andrade underwent surgery before moving to a hiatus
As reported exclusively by Wrestling Inc in mid-October, Andrade decided to undergo a minor elective procedure around the WWE Draft. This was the reported reason why he was never officially drafted. At the time, he was scheduled to be out of action for about a month. We should also note that his girlfriend, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has also gone through elective procedures with him but she is back on TV by the end of last year.
As previously reported, Andrade and Mickie James are the only free agents left from the 2020 WWE Draft. Back in December, it was also some of the reports also claimed that the former US Champion and her fiancéee, Charlotte Flair, could be paired up together on WWE programming. However, that wasn’t the case as Charlotte has returned to RAW in a tag team with Asuka.
Andrade last wrestled on RAW a few months ago to lose a singles contest to Angel Garza. After losing the United States Title this past May, he had mostly been competing in the tag team division alongside Garza in a lengthy feud with the Street Profits. This rivalry culminated a title match with the Street Profits defeating Andrade and Garza at the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view in September.
