Since late 2018, Becky Lynch got the push in the WWE to elevate herself into the top tier after waiting for such a long time in the WWE. That push eventually made her the winner of the very first all-women WrestleMania main event and thereby become the first-ever Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion in WWE history. To date, she remains one of the biggest names on WWE television.
Being one of the fan favorites in the WWE, Becky Lynch broke down barriers as a leading female professional wrestler in the WWE and also in the mainstream world. The stereotypes were vanquished as she herself believes that gender is no longer an issue in the WWE locker room. It all started with her when she entered the top 10 highest earners list containing the male superstars.
Getting Squashed By Becky Lynch Was “The Best Thing That Could’ve Happened” To WWE Raw Star
Capitalizing on Women’s Evolution, talents like Becky Lynch changed the course of women’s wrestling where they are no longer treated as eye candy divas, anymore. Rather they get to feature in the main event or gimmick matches to showcase their wrestling skills. While speaking on Know Mercy with Stephen A. Smith, the multi-time champion talked about the importance of the growing fanbase for women’s wrestling where gender has become a negligible point,
“I think our female audience is 40% now? And I think you get that relatability. For example, the UFC, I prefer watching the women fight, because I’m a woman, so I can picture myself in that regard. It’s just … we’re all just people doing a sport. We’re all just telling stories. I think, gender aside, we do bring in a larger female audience because we show what [women are] capable [of]. But, in general, I think we’re at this stage, where, gender be damned, we’re just flowing with our stories and we’re just [WWE] Superstars.”

Becky Lynch also talked about her retirement from pro wrestling
Becky Lynch also talked about plans after retirement during that same interview. She reflected on her two-decade-long career in the world of professional wrestling and the fact that her pro wrestling career will not last forever. With growing age, her body will eventually give up, leading to the point where she will have to stop, no matter what.
It appears that while leaving the professional wrestling circuit, Becky Lynch will transition to Hollywood, following the league of The Rock or John Cena. The Man has been at the top of her wrestling game for several years now but she had also been featured in a couple of TV and movie projects to take a taste of acting stint and that’s to be taken forward.
