WWE Hall of Famer Batista has gone on to become a megastar in Hollywood, following the footsteps of The Rock. Despite his success in the professional wrestling industry, he opted to go out of his familiar zone and do something new. That move made him one of the most sought-after actors in the business and this status doesn’t allow him to be back in the squared circle.
Batista mainly made a name for himself by portraying the role of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy film franchise. He is fully aware of what’s going on in the wrestling circuit which is why he likes to throw opinions on discussed topics. In an interesting manner, he thinks a top female superstar is copying his WWE entrance on a regular entrance.
WWE Superstar Sasha Banks Wanted To Be A Global Name Like John Cena Or The Rock
As noted, Batista made it big as a Hollywood star but he’d always be considered one of the all-time great Superstars in WWE. The Animal has also been involved in creating some of the most iconic moments in the company’s history. While making those moments, he also used to make one of the most exciting entrances in WWE history. That pendant of his is currently being used by Raw Superstar, Rhea Ripley, as observed by the Superstar himself.
Shane McMahon Doesn’t Share Good Rapport With Current WWE Chairman
Batista found similarities around Rhea Ripley about entrance
Batista always stomped his right foot before pretending to fire machinegun shots while pyrotechnics used to go off the air. Similar to him, Ripley also stomps her right foot on the entrance ramp before she tries to fire up the fans. No pyros are used in her entrance but lighting goes off around the venue.
WWE has recently shared a recent video featuring Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and asked fans’ opinions about their team. In the comment section, Batista suggested that Ripley has been copying his entrance.
“Seems familiar somehow.”
This was an interesting take by the former world champion but Ripley didn’t pass any comments on this opinion, as of this writing.
Not being under contract with the WWE, Batista has always been vocal especially about WWE’s social media posts whenever he feels like doing it. The former WWE Superstar remains busy with numerous projects in Hollywood which won’t allow him to be back in action, anytime soon.
He was already announced for a Hall of Fame induction, two years ago but the official induction via a ceremony is yet to happen. No update is available on whether WWE will be inducting him to the prestigious club in this year’s ceremony.
