Sasha Banks is one of the global icons for female professional wrestlers who changed the game in the WWE over the past few years. Along with the likes of Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, she helped demolish the term Diva from WWE’s book where men and women superstars are seen at the same level.
During the Divas era and prior to this, WWE used to treat female competitors as objects of sexual desire. Their wrestling talents were never showcased. But things changed when Sasha Banks and her then NXT contemporaries stepped into the main roster and changed things for good. They came together and proved that female performers are no less than the bonafide male superstars.
