WWE Legend Batista is one of those very professional wrestlers who managed to find a foothold in Hollywood. He has been a prominent feature in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie franchise and the next installment for the franchise is in the pipeline.
Now, the writer and director of the popular film franchise, James Gunn revealed on social media that the movie has wrapped up the filming portion of the production.

As noted, former WWE superstar and multi-time World Champion, Dave Bautista, better known as Batista will be seen reprising his role as Drax “The Destroyer” in the film. As per his comments from past interviews, this third film in the series is likely the last of his character. He previously wished for a spin-off project for the Drax character but nothing materialized out of the discussions.
Meanwhile, James Gunn wrote the following to give an update on the movie’s proceedings, “And that’s a picture wrap on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. I love this amazing cast & crew & their beautiful talent & kind souls. I’m a lucky human to have them on the journey with me for nearly a decade.”

Batista is involved in several other Hollywood projects
Apart from Batista, the other lead cast members for the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise include Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, and Vin Diesel as Groot. All of these names will be back in the next installment which is currently scheduled to be released sometime in 2023.
Batista spent the month of April working on “Guardians” which will bring out a Christmas special under the same name on Disney+ later this year. He will then travel to Philadelphia to film M. Night Shyamalan’s “Knock at the Cabin” film, then a sequel to the “Dune” movie, and a buddy cop comedy with Jason Momoa. By taking to his Instagram profile, he also revealed being involved in the script for the “Knock At The Cabin” project.
Apart from being involved in movie ventures, Batista also recently opened a new DC Society Ink tattoo studio in Tampa, Florida. He visited the shop, last month while being on a brief break from filming Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 in Atlanta, Georgia.
