Becky Lynch has been very much vocal about WWE retaining the very best women’s division on the planet. While many of the fans might be having problems with this thinking, some of them does reflect the same sentiment as the company was able to create some major stars from the talented women’s division competitors, over the years.
On the other hand, AEW has been receiving criticism about its women’s division since the very beginning. The rival brand to the WWE took the pro-wrestling world by storm by surfacing in 2019 as it was the first pro wrestling company after a long gap that could have produced a fair amount of competition for WWE.

However, their female roster was often considered a one-woman show during Britt Baker’s long title reign with the AEW Women’s World Championship. Becky Lynch doesn’t think AEW Women’s Division is doing great
In an interview with Drew Garabo, Big Time Becks shared her opinions about the AEW Women’s roster. She was very straight while saying that AEW simply isn’t as good as the WWE when it comes to female talents. She also proceeded to criticize the promotion for their lack of representation.
“I wish I could say ‘yes,’ but, unfortunately, I don’t think they are represented the way we are. They don’t get as much time as we get and frankly, they’re not as good as we are,” Becky Lynch continued.
“We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world.” (quotes courtesy Fightful)
The longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion added that competition is great in AEW and she does have a good friend in Ruby Soho (former Riott Squad leader Ruby Riott in the WWE) from that roster.
At Wrestlemania 38, Becky Lynch lost her Raw Women’s Title for the first time in nearly three years which is an all-time record. She was booked as a strong superstar with the title around her shoulder all the time since early 2019. Now, WWE may find it hard to utilize her in a proper way without the belt.
