Becky Lynch was watching WWE SmackDown, this past Friday night which was crashed by Ronda Rousey. The latter was never supposed to be in the ring but then she showed up with a bag full of cash in the ring and dumped those in the ring. This was in response to being fined for her reckless actions from WWE Summerslam where she attacked Smackdown Women’s Champion and a WWE Official with the arm-bar submission hold.
Then the move by Rousey on Smackdown immediately caught the attention of the WWE fans as they found a resemblance to a similar moment that involved Becky Lynch from a few years ago. This happened during the build toward her match against Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.

Becky Lynch would respond to a vicious attack from the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion by emptying a bag full of cash in the ring. The then-champion stated that she was already paying a fine for what she was looking forward to doing to Baszler after the latter’s vampire-esque actions on her debut night of Raw.
Becky Lynch took notice of Rousey’s act last Friday and found similarities from her actions during the February 16, 2020 edition of WWE Raw. Responding to a fan on Twitter she wrote on Twitter, “Ronnie [heart emoji]s The Man.”

Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey still in the pipeline
The two top female superstars aren’t connected via any storyline, as of this writing and they have also been put in the different brands in the WWE to possibly avoid any collision. It’s widely believed that Rousey vs. Lynch will be one of the marquee matches at next year’s WrestleMania 39 and hence the WWE creative team wants to keep them apart, for the time being.
Earlier this year, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported that WWE scrapped the same match lineup from WrestleMania 38, as they wanted to have a long build-up to the long-awaited one-on-one matchup between the two superstars. Becky Lynch was a regular feature on TV in early 2022 while Ronda Rousey returned to action by winning the Royal Rumble 2022 matchup.
Becky Lynch is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury that she picked up at Summerslam. Rousey lost her title match opportunity on that same night to get suspended but she got herself included in the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture featuring the champion, Liv Morgan and Shayna Baszler.
