The question surrounding the prizefighter along the road to Wrestlemania finally has been answered by WWE Creative. After being empty handed for around 2 long months and facing consecutive losses, the prizefighter claimed his 2nd Intercontinental title on last night’s RAW by winning the impromptu fatal-5-way match that screwed Dean Ambrose.
If that was not enough for excitement, WWE has announced that the newly crowned Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens will defend his title against Dolph Zigler at the WWE Fastlane PPV. The fatal-5-way match that involved Dean Ambrose, Tyler Breeze, Stardust and Dolph Ziggler and Owens saw KO delivering a huge pop-up-powerbomb to Breeze and regain his Intercontinental championship which he lost to Dean Ambrose at TLC.

After the match, it was Dolph Ziggler, who demanded a title shot against Owens at Fastlane which was obviously declined by Owens then. Later it was declared that WWE has made the match official between them as to force Owens to defend his newly won title at the final stop before Wrestlemania.
Owens and Ziggler had a tremendous rivalry for the last 2 months when Owens was chasing Dean Ambrose to reclaim the IC title and Ziggler got into the mix perfectly. This is the perfect time to push the rivalry to the next level by adding it an extra stipulation to it i.e. the title shot. But, perhaps this feud is going to end at the Fastlane PPV as something new should be waiting for both of them at Wrestlemania.
Perhaps Owens is set to defend his title against his NXT rival Sami Zyan or Neville at Wrestlemania as to rekindle the heated rivalries for the next generation stars.
