Big Show has been one of the most familiar names from the professional wrestling circuit who made the sport familiar. Standing at 7 feet tall, he was presented on television as a reckless force who could have easily defeated the who’s who of the WWE like The Undertaker, Stone Cold, Kane, and many more. However, when it comes to championship reigns, the legendary superstar could have gathered much more.
But you just can’t blame anybody else when Big Show himself wasn’t interested in carrying championship belts around his shoulder, especially the top world titles.
The Rock’s Daughter Possibly Gearing Up For Her WWE NXT Debut
Between his time in WCW and WWE, the superstar having the real name of Paul Wight won seven world championships but he confessed on Submission Radio that he wasn’t really fond of winning world titles and thereafter carrying the workload as a champion.
“I’m not a guy that ever should’ve had a title like that, a Heavyweight title,” Big Show stated. “… It’s the tough thing about being a champion is all that responsibility is on your head, and I never wanted that much responsibility. I never wanted to run the whole boat.”

Big Show is a multi-time world champion in WWE
Of the seven World Championships that Big Show won, four happened in WWE while two took place in WCW. Those two World Championship wins in WCW came under the name of The Giant. In the first instance, he defeated The Immortal Hulk Hogan to take his first big lap in professional wrestling.
Afterward, he was given the name of Big Show after signing with the WWE where he is also a former world tag team champion and an Intercontinental Champion. His role as a wrestler changed a lot after arriving in the AEW in comparison to what it used to be in WWE or WCW.
During the conversation, Big Show revealed that one thing he loves while being with the AEW,
“One of the things that I loved about AEW is there’s not a writing staff of 15, 20 writers. When the talent has a promo, that promo comes from the talent, you know? So there’s not as much hands-on, molding, presentation, and packaging. A lot of AEW is very raw.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Big Show is primarily appointed to do commentary for AEW Dark: Elevation but he also wrestled in four matches since his debut in the company. During AEW All Out 2021, the world’s largest athlete defeated QT Marshall in a quick match that lasted for just over three minutes.
