Britt Baker is one of the cornerstone figures of the All Elite Wrestling promotion. Over the course of the last few years, she’s cemented the fact by participating in big-time matches and also enjoying the longest-title reign in AEW Women’s Division history. Without a dispute, the star having a doctor gimmick attached to her, carried the company’s women’s division for nearly a year but ultimately lost her AEW Women’s Championship to arch-rival Thunder Rosa.
But that certainly didn’t steal the thunder of Britt Baker who can look forward to many more accolades in the future. The top women’s wrestling star remains on the lookout for potential big-money matches via which she can dominate the headlines. Also, she has a new idea for a potential dream opponent when the topic was nurtured in a recent interview session.
Britt Baker spoke to Forbes about the fallouts that Sasha Banks is having with the WWE. The former AEW Women’s World Champion noted that Sasha is a very hot topic and down the line, she would love to have the opportunity to wrestle her,
“Since it’s a pretty hot topic right now, I’m going to say Sasha Banks.…I think she is one of the top draws in all of WWE. She’s such a superstar, she’s such a good wrestler. She’s definitely somebody that I would love to wrestle.”

Britt Baker vs. Sasha Banks may not be happening soon
As you can assume that Britt Baker’s answer came after Banks, along with her tag team partner Naomi, walked out of a recent episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. During the exit, the then reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions also forfeited the titles. Afterward, on WWE Friday Night Smackdown, it was announced that Banks and Naomi were suspended indefinitely.
Many fans have since been speculating that Sasha Banks might just want to get rid of the WWE, at this point. But, WWE might just want to freeze her contract, preventing her from working elsewhere. If that’s the case a release and arrival at the AEW seem the most unlikely situation.
That being said, the dream match between Sasha Banks and Britt Baker may not happen, anytime soon. These two have never met in the ring as they have never worked for the same promotion at the same time.
