AEW community has been buzzing about the latest return of Adam Cole to Dynamite and her girlfriend, also an AEW wrestler, Britt Baker has also joined the conversation. For pretty good reasons, the pillar of the AEW couldn’t be more proud of how he went to lengthy measures to get back his professional wrestling life after suffering a serious concussion.
Adam Cole made his TV return on AEW, this week
Cole made his shocking return to AEW Dynamite during the January 11 episode after several months off injury hiatus. On that same night, Britt Baker also defeated Saraya and Toni Storm in a tag team match to level the score with Saraya in their ongoing feud.

As noted by Cole on Dynamite, he had been dealing with injuries, including a concussion that made his return uncertain. However, Cole revealed in his promo on AEW Dynamite that he will return to competition and won’t stop until he becomes the top performer in the company.
It was also noted in this segment that his concussion-related issues caused anxiety and motion sickness during his recovery period. The tough period was also noted by Britt Baker as she posted on Twitter about Cole’s return and mentioned how proud she was of him.
Britt and Cole exchanged comments on Twitter
“For months, the only time @AdamColePro left the house was to go to brain/physical therapy appointments. There was a time he wasn’t allowed to fly on planes or do anything more than go for a walk. I’m so damn proud of how hard he worked every single day to get back to you all,” wrote Britt Baker in her statement.
Cole was quick to respond to the tweet as he stated the following,
“Thanks for being in my corner every step of the way. Couldn’t have done it without you.”
