Britt Baker has always been considered one of the top four pillars of the AEW roster since the very beginning days of the company. Through her dedication, she excelled in AEW as the company’s very first female signee. Down the road, she solidified her status on top of the AEW roster by enjoying the longest title run in the history of the company.
Apart from establishing herself as a champion via the lengthy title run, Britt Baker also revolutionized the AEW roster by introducing a reality TV show. During the first-ever TV reality show from the AEW roster named AEW All Access, Britt Baker showcased a few attributes of her personal life. This is where she also spoke about her back issues, and it appears that the problem still persists.
Former Bombshell UFC Fighter Reportedly Done With Her AEW Career
Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Britt Baker shared an update about her injury. The former champion revealed stated that she’s not on the shelf due to this injury, but she still needs to be under the doctor’s observation given how much the companies act safe with their talents. An MRI was also said to be performed to make sure everything was okay.

“No, I’m not on the shelf, not to the point where I can’t wrestle or anything. But we’re definitely being proactive with the doctor. I’m getting an MRI, so I have to get a shot to be able to wrestle,” Britt Baker continued.
“We are getting a new MRI this week just to make sure everything’s okay because our medical team, they never will let you work if it’s not safe. I have to say that first and foremost. But I’m very stubborn, and I want to wrestle as much as possible. Even if I not gonna wrestle, I’m gonna be at work.”
Even during her absence from in-ring competition on AEW TV, her popularity didn’t fade away just because of the fact that she’s perhaps the most important cornerstone figure talent on the AEW roster. She doesn’t need a title to be popular in the AEW. She has been built as a well-established character that has its own appeal to the fans.
Her work ethic is also commendable where she makes it every week to work despite being an injured talent given that Tony Khan might need her in different capacities. That being said, we can only hope Britt Baker makes it back to the ring, very soon in a physical capacity.
