Britt Baker is one of the four pillars of the All Elite Wrestling promotion. Being one of the top superstars of the company, she is aware of her popularity not only among AEW fans but in the entire professional wrestling circuit. But at this point in her career, she’s focusing on her friend Jamie Hayter’s career rather than her own achievements as she shares nearly the same affection.
The New York Post recently posted a feature piece on Britt Baker D.M.D. where she was asked whether she’s thinking to become a bonafide babyface again from her current strong heel persona. In response, she said that it’s just about the time that the character change eventually happens. Plus, it was also reminded that during her title reign, she was automatically getting cheered.
“That is more so just listening to the crowd,” Britt Baker said. “Jamie’s been getting nuclear reactions for a while now. I think almost my entire title reign I felt like I was getting cheered. It was time. You feel it. You try to fight it as much as you can even though you probably shouldn’t. There comes a point where it’s just time.”

Britt noted how Hayter helped her in the past
It was also noted during the interview that the full-on face turn for Britt Baker was propelled by the chemistry that she and Hayter always share. The former champion is well aware of being the primary pillar of the women’s division. But for the time being, she is more than happy to take a back seat as long as Hayter remains the champion,
“If the roles were reversed, Jamie was always helping me. I had the belt and I was the center of attention. Once the role is reversed, why would I not be there for her right now, too?
It’s time for Jamie to have the spotlight and the title and for Jamie to have the big push. I want to be right there in her corner for all of this, too.”

As of this writing, Jamie Hayter will be facing Saraya and Ruby Suho this Sunday at AEW Revolution while defending his AEW Women’s World Championship in a Triple Threat. Her on-screen best friend, Britt Baker went on to admit that she currently has the best role for herself to support Hayter as she keeps on holding on to the gold. This is a time for her to be the team player to help build the AEW brand,
“Right now, this is where I’m supposed to be.”
Hayter dared to put her title on the line in a triple threat
Hayter will be going through the toughest title defense of her career at Revolution pay-per-view on March 5 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. The match was announced after Saraya’s win over Skye Blue, two weeks ago on Dynamite. Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker DMD ran down to the ring to prevent Saraya and Toni Storm from spray painting on Blue.
As the duo tried to retreat through the ramp, Ruby Soho appeared on the stage and intended to go after Hayter’s gold. Afterward, Hayter and Britt Baker talked to Tony Schiavone later on in the show, and Hayter was confident enough to put her title on the line against both Soho and Saraya to confirm the triple threat.
