The dream match between Brock Lesnar and Gunther is being demanded by the WWE Universe for some time and the only reason why this match is getting postponed is because WWE wants the latter name to be a bonafide main-eventer. Going by the recent comments of Gunther, he’s also eagerly waiting for the match in his home country of the United Kingdom.

The Ring General had previously mentioned in interviews that his confrontation with Brock Lesnar at the 2023 Royal Rumble match gave him confirmation that the WWE Universe will love to see a slugfest between the two. Now, the reigning mid-card champion on the red brand has more reasons to have that bout in the UK territory.

Gunther has reasons to face Brock Lesnar in the United Kingdom
While speaking on My Love Letter to Wrestling with Mark Andrews, Gunther questioned if the head booker of the WWE, Triple H might consider booking him in a match against Brock Lesnar. Gunther hoped that WWE should be interested in the money match and he also specified the reason why this particular match should go down in the United Kingdom.
“Compared to the US, especially in England, people understand competition. They tend to look at the match and take it as a competition and then emotionally react to it, rather than expecting the fireworks right away,” Gunther seemed ecstatic about the match against Brock Lesnar.
“I hope. The thing is, who knows. We had great success as Clash at the Castle, and now coming back with Money in the Bank, I’m hoping this is something that becomes a tradition where they venture out to Europe for the big events. The response is great and we get the chance more often.”
For the time being, Brock Lesnar will still be involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes. The two currently stand 1-1 in the program which calls for a rubber match, possibly at Summerslam 2023. The challenger from Cody’s side for the match has already been issued. As for Gunther, he will reportedly be involved in a title match program against Matt Riddle.
