WWE Raw opened with the WWE Champion and Universal Champion standing together. This time around, they were waiting to know the decision made by Brock Lesnar around his Money in the Bank contract cash-in decision. The beast took a hilarious entry by treating the briefcase as a boombox and partially dancing around to mock the New Day. Rollins looked disgusting by his actions as he left the ring and we really got to know anything.
WWE Raw Full Results: May 27th, 2019
Brock Lesnar re-appeared on WWE Raw several minutes later to let his decision know. This time around, Seth Rollins came out again literally begging him to cash-in Money in the Bank contract. But Heyman informed his client that the contract will be in his possession for one more year. So he can literally exercise this clause for a long time. With that being said, The Conqueror walked away from the scene. He will wait for the right time to regain the championship when he wants.
The big concern going into this week’s episode of WWE Raw was consecutive appearances by Brock Lesnar. He barely appears on two back to back episode unless it’s a big pay-per-view occasion. In this case, it was the upcoming Super ShowDown event set for June 7th. WWE has booked him on the show but did not confirm his opponent. So he decided to announce the same via his possession over the Money in the Bank briefcase, as revealed by WWE.com,
“The Purveyor of Paranoia” will finally reveal which World Champion he will cash in on this Monday night on Raw. Might The Conqueror seek payback against Rollins, who defeated Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania? Or will he look to end Kingston’s 11-year WWE Championship journey in heartbreak and destruction, mere days before he is set to defend it against Dolph Ziggler at WWE Super ShowDown?”
Backstage News On Brock Lesnar Winning Money In The Bank Briefcase
Since Brock Lesnar belongs to the WWE Raw brand, most chances were there that he’d go on to choose Seth Rollins. This would set up a rematch between these two from Wrestlemania 35 for the Super ShowDown event. But things would become extremely predictable for the WWE Universe in that case. Hence, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston was also an option who The Beast considered to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. However, it was the right decision to let him hold back the decision for now. At least, the unpredictability remains around the briefcase.
