Brock Lesnar went through the final match of his feud with Cody Rhodes at Summerslam 2023 which turned out to be very much physical. After the brutal fight was over, it was Cody Rhodes who stood tall in the ring after securing a clean pin-fall win over The Beast Incarnate which appeared to be one of the biggest wins of his career.

For all the right reasons, Brock Lesnar shook The American Nightmare’s hand, hugged him, and then raised his arm, which was not a planned moment. On one of the rarest occasions, the top most attraction of the WWE put over his opponent who’s considered to be the top-most babyface player of the Raw brand.

According to the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar got injured early in his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. The nature of the injury, its severity as well as the timespan to get healed is unknown yet, and hence there’s no update on when we could see him, next on TV.

Brock Lesnar may not return to the WWE until the Royal Rumble season

It was noted in the report that WWE has current plans for Brock Lesnar to have him return for the build-up to the Royal Rumble next year from where he could be going to WrestleMania 40. If these reports are true then we have already seen the last of the biggest box-office attraction in the WWE for this year. It makes sense since he’s already competed in five of the six bygone premium live events of the company in 2023.

WWE Smackdown: New United States Champion Crowned On August 11 Episode

Previous reports from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer stated that Brock Lesnar is advertised for the Payback PLE in September,

“He’s advertised for Payback, so maybe that’s when he comes back. I was told he’ll be gone for a while, but not a long while. So, we’ll have to see what that means.”

However, in an update, Ringside News confirmed that Brock Lesnar will not be inboard for the PLE. The ten-time WWE Champion is just coming off a three-match trilogy with Cody Rhodes to put over the latter one in a great way. It seems that he won’t be rushing to make his way back for another feud until, at least the next Saudi Arabia show arrives.
