Brock Lesnar, Hall Of Famers, Title Matches & More Announced For WWE Raw Season Premiere 1

A new era is about to begin on WWE TV starting from next week. The much-anticipated move of Smackdown Live to FOX will happen on Friday, October 4th. But before that, WWE Raw will have its season premiere on September 30th from the USA Network. To make the show a must-watch, WWE has confirmed several legendary names to be present on the show. Additionally, a couple of title matches will be there to make the show a loaded one, overall.

WWE Raw visits The Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona to host the season premiere of the show. It has earlier disclosed that Brock Lesnar will be in attendance on the show before his clash against Kofi Kingston on Smackdown Live. With the biggest box office attraction returning on the flagship show after Summerslam, it becomes a must-see for the fans. Numerous other segments will also be there apart from the former Universal Champion’s experience.

Rey Mysterio vs. WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins is now official for next Monday’s RAW season premiere episode for the red-strapped title. Rey won a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match on last night’s episode in San Francisco, California to become the new number, one contender. He pinned RAW Tag Team Champion Robert Roode to win. The other participants of this match were Ricochet, WWE United States Champion AJ Styles and WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

Another match confirmed for next week’s WWE Raw will feature two former WWE Raw women’s champions. Sasha Banks vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss will take place after Sasha picked up two back to back pinfall wins over the other half of tag champs, Nikki Cross.

WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan are returning to WWE RAW next week. The Miz appeared in a backstage segment with the NXT tag team champions to confirm that he will host a special edition of The Miz TV with these two legendary superstars.
