One of the heated feuds of the spring in the WWE has been Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes on Raw. It would go beyond this season and enter the summer as the storyline suggests. These two are reportedly set for a third battle and we now have received multiple updates regarding this upcoming contest.
Ringside News was the first outlet to report that Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes were not finished with each other yet. That was very certain after how things ended at Night of Champions and how Cody was still in the mood for a rematch.

Now, Dave Meltzer confirmed during Wrestling Observer Radio that The Beast Incarnate and The American Nightmare are set to collide once again at SummerSlam. It was also noted that the two are expected to collide in a match that we’ve not seen in a while,
“I have been told that it is gonna be something. It’s not just gonna be a straight match. They’ve got some sort of stipulation that allegedly we have not seen in a while and that means not Hell in a Cell.”
Insider source BWE recently reported that a Dog Collar Match was pitched for Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes III, but the idea was shot down by the creative team. This happened despite Cody being a big fan of this match stipulation. Previously, Cody’s father and WWE Legend Dusty Rhodes competed in this type of match back and so had Cody, back in AEW against Brodie Lee.

Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes rivalry began after Wrestlemania 39
The feud between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes started on Raw after WrestleMania 39. These two were scheduled to team up to face The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa). But the match never happened as Lesnar turned heel and brutally assaulted The American Nightmare before the match bell even rang.
Then they had their first singles match at Backlash in Puerto Rico, where Cody pinned Brock Lesnar in the main event of the PLE. The latter was busted open during this match after going head-first into an exposed turnbuckle. The two collided in a rematch at Night of Champions where Lesnar settled the score by passing out Rhodes with the Kimura Lock.
