Brock Lesnar can arguably be claimed to be the most dominant WWE Superstar of the last decade given his dominance on the roster. Since coming back to the WWE, he decimated The Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak, the holy grail of the sports entertainment industry, and also dominated the current poster figure of the company, Roman Reigns in his ‘The Big Dog’ days.

Ever since his WWE debut in 2002, Brock Lesnar was built as a force to be reckoned with. He took the least time from the infamous OVW batch of that same year to become a champion, the youngest World Champion in WWE history. Due to differences, his first WWE stint didn’t last long but he found his way back to the company to clinch the title on nine more occasions.

WWE Raw: Update On Brock Lesnar’s Retirement After Wrestlemania 39

Brock Lesnar’s retirement has nothing to do with Triple H

However, his long-time colleague and rival Kurt Angle believes that Brock Lesnar is simply ready to quit the game and this has nothing to do with Triple H gaining charge of the WWE creative team. Here’s more from what the WWE Hall of Famer had offered in a recent interview with Rewind Recap Relive,

“You know what, Triple H is a great leader. He’s a great boss. I don’t have a problem with him. I don’t think anybody has a problem with him. Vince was different, yeah. Vince was unique. He was one of a kind, nobody else like him, cared very much about his talent so does Triple H though.

I mean, I’m not gonna knock Triple H because if anybody was gonna replace Vince it was gonna be Triple H and Stephanie. And you know, that’s basically what they did. So, I don’t think Triple H is the reason why Brock’s retiring. I don’t believe that for second. I just believe that Brock’s had enough. He’s ready to quit. He’s ready to retire.” (quotes courtesy Ringside News)

It was also noted during the conversation that Brock Lesnar has made tons of money in the WWE throughout his career especially after the company signed a deal with Saudi Arabia and used him as a marquee name in almost all of the pay-per-views held in the country.
