Former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle used to be one of the mainstays of the WWE women’s division during the mid-2000s. After the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita headed into retirement, it was stars like her who carried the women’s division. Coming off a modeling background, she was one of the rarest names from that timespan to pick up a women’s championship.
As a part of the Vince’s Devils faction, Candice Michelle spread her oomph quotient among the WWE Universe which also organically helped her to become a beloved star during her time in the company. She utilized her short tenure in the company before getting released. Now with more returns happening under Triple H’s leadership, it seems she is willing to make a Royal Rumble appearance.

Candice Michelle wants to feature in Royal Rumble in her hometown of Texas
Candice Michelle could never participate in a Royal Rumble match in the WWE during her tenure with the company since fans weren’t allowed to do so in that Ruthless Aggression Era. Now that the chance is there, the former bombshell diva wants a shot at it.
While speaking during her recent interview with Ring The Belle, Candice Michelle reminded fans that this year’s Royal Rumble will be going down from her home state of Texas. She made it clear to be open to making an appearance at the event and possibly competing in that over-the-top-rope melee,
“I get this question all the time. I’m so down for it. Even one year, they promoted that I was going to be there and people were like, ‘Why didn’t you show up?’ I was like, ‘The truth is they just never called me.’ They have certain amount of people they gotta have, a certain look, group, and all that stuff. I just haven’t made the list yet. So I’m hoping this year; it’s in Texas. I live in Texas. It’s a good year to go back, I’m just saying. I’m ready. I hope it happens, but we’ll see what they do.”
Candice Michelle was last advertised for RAW Legends Night back in January 2021 but that was subsequently canceled. Prior to that in July 2019, she was a part of the Raw Reunion episode where she became the 24/7 Champion for a brief occasion. We will have to wait and see whether she finally gets a chance to appear during the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2023.
