Carmella has made a name for herself in the WWE over the past several years as a wrestler, having multiple accomplishments. After carving out a solid position in the WWE women’s division, it’s time for her to fulfill some of her personal life goals with her husband Corey Graves by her side. Earlier this year, the couple announced having a baby and now they’ve revealed the gender of the same.
Last night, Carmella alongside her husband appeared on The Tamron Hall Show. The host of the show asked audience members whether or not they wanted to know if the couple was having a boy or a girl. The majority of the audience believed that the baby was going to be a girl, and blue confetti rained down from the ceiling to confirm that it would be a boy.

“I had a feeling from the very beginning that it was a boy,” Carmella later admitted to PEOPLE. “A woman’s intuition is a real thing! We couldn’t be more excited. Matt and I were both hoping for a boy. Since he already has one son and two daughters, our little boy will balance everything out.”

The former WWE Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase winner also revealed that she feels much better these days with the baby in her womb during the second trimester. Admittedly, she and Corey also have his name figured out but they obviously didn’t want to give that away to the media and kept it a secret for the time being.
“We actually decided on his name a long time ago. We came up with it as a ‘Some day, if we ever have a boy we should name him this.’ And now that someday is here!” Carmella added.
These are good times for Carmella and her family after they dealt with a tough time more than a year ago. They have previously suffered a miscarriage and were supported by friends, family, and fans throughout that tough phase. Thankfully, for the couple, things are much better as they’re going to enjoy this new phase in their life.
Carmella and Graves jointly announced the pregnancy at the beginning of last month. They previously confirmed their relationship on WWE’s reality TV series, Total Divas before announcing their engagement in October 2021. The popular duo tied the knot in April 2022.
