Carmella manages to be on the news, all the time, no matter how. WWE may not be able to use her on TV on a regular basis but she herself garners attention from the live audience as well as from the fans over on social media on her own. Posting scorching photos is definitely one of her old habits that keeps her in the spotlight, all the time.
At this time, Carmella isn’t booked on Smackdown on any storylines since after losing against Bianca Belair a couple of times for the Women’s Championship. Now that Sasha Banks has returned to the scene, the likes of her and Zelina Vega were used on the show to be on Banks’ side during the Summerslam contract signing.

Carmella is currently portraying “The Most Beautiful Woman in All of WWE” shtick. While talking to the Out of Character Podcast, she revealed that she had to hire her own crew at home to help her create vignettes to pitch to WWE. Thankfully, the creative team loved her new take on shredding that Princess of Staten Island character, so it worked out. So, her money for hiring a crew for a pitch wasn’t wasted, after all.
“Then they said they wanted to give my character a ‘fresh coat of paint’ and at first I’m like, ‘I love my character, and I don’t want to change.’ Then I thought it was a good thing to change and show some growth. If I was going to have a new character, I wanted something that would resonate and something I would feel. I made vignettes at home. I hired people, created them, and sent them to WWE. They were like, ‘This is great, we love it, this is what we’re going to do.’”
