Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s careers started in the WWE at the same point, be it in the WWE or on the main roster. Unlike the chosen one like Flair, the other one had to scratch and crawl her way to the top of the WWE and the struggle and fame did end up souring their relationship, down the road. This became crystal clear after the two got into a verbal confrontation in the fall of 2021 on Smackdown.

However, they used to be very close friends even a few years ago, so much so that they often traveled together. There was a scary incident where they almost lost their lives in a car accident while traveling together from one WWE house show to another. Both herself and Charlotte Flair managed to dodge any sort of big damage on that night.

While speaking on That’s What She Said, Becky Lynch discussed her pro wrestling career and had many interesting stories to offer. In one of those incidents, she shared experiencing the scariest situation from a road accident while traveling with Charlotte Flair. The latter was seemingly covered with blood but then it appeared to be food color from her meal.

Becky Lynch thought Charlotte Flair was covered with blood

“It’s probably when I nearly died. So, it was actually myself and Charlotte were driving from one live event to another and we’re on the road. We’re in Detroit and two cars go racing past us and I go ‘Holy c–p that car nearly… boom!’” Becky Lynch continued.

“We get sideswiped and rammed right into a wall, then we go skidding past that. I look over to Charlotte and she’s just covered in red stuff – turns out it was my meal from the back of the car – but I thought it was blood.”

We’re not so sure whether that was the final ride between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as friends. But it’s certain that the age riding each other to home and WWE events have long gone. They might not be good friends anymore, but the mutual respect between them being two top WWE Superstars is intact and they never had problems squaring off in the ring, moving forward.
