Charlotte Flair has been one of the most trusted shoulders for WWE management ever since her entry into the mainstay scene back in 2016. Her strong booking often gave reasons for the WWE Universe to file complaints but that doesn’t take away the fact that she’s an incredibly talented wrestler who has the capability of carrying the company on her own.
Apparently, serving the WWE for such a long time created tenacity in herself that led to the longest hiatus of her career in 2022. She needed a much-needed break away from the business and that came after she tied the knot for the third time in her life with former WWE Superstar Andrade El-Idolo.

In an appearance on the Out of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Charlotte Flair admitted to taking a break from her hectic schedule last year. The near-eight-month hiatus from WWE programming mainly served as a way so that she could spend quality time with Andrade El Idolo as well as address some lingering dental issues.

Though much of her absence, Charlotte Flair was recovering from dental procedures. Plus, it was also a way for her to detach herself from the pro-wrestling world and all the strenuous situations that come with it,
“This time has gone by so fast and everyone says it does, and it has. In the same breath, I still feel like there’s all these things I want to do, but I keep getting asked all these questions like, ‘what’s next?’ Am I supposed to want to be done? I never thought of it that way, so disconnecting for me was more like … when I joined FCW, that turned into ‘NXT,’ and my brother died, I just never looked back and just threw myself into work.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Charlotte Flair As enjoyed visiting as she explored Rome, Venice, and Florence, Italy with her husband. “I was really intrigued and wanted to learn more … I was blown away.” she said while revisiting their world tour that also consisted of travelogues to Costa Rica and Tequila, Mexico.
The Queen then made her much-anticipated return to WWE television during the December 30 episode of WWE Smackdown. On that night, she challenged and defeated Ronda Rousey to become the new Smackdown Women’s Title and a 14-time women’s champion.
