From the very beginning of Charlotte Flair’s career, she was set up to be the cornerstone figure of the WWE women’s division, be it on NXT or the mainstay scene. She went into the longest hiatus of her WWE career in 2022 but then after the comeback, she immediately got to the top of the women’s division by showing up on WWE SmackDown on the final SmackDown episode of 2022.

With that win, Charlotte Flair had become a 14-time women’s champion in the WWE on the main roster. The spree of winning titles started for her all the way five years ago with the Divas Championship. Recently, the genetically superior athlete recalled the time when she got the opportunity to hold the original Divas Championship belt. However, it was stolen from her.

Charlotte Flair has had the privilege of dominating all the women’s divisions of the WWE since making her debut with the company and holding the titles of each brand. She was also the one who retired the old Divas Championship belt at WrestleMania 32. On that night, the pioneer also became the inaugural RAW Women’s Champion at the Show of Shows by defeating Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.

Charlotte Flair mentioned Divas Championship belt as her favorite memorabilia

Speaking on Les Anti-Pods de la lutte, Charlotte Flair shared a heartbreaking story that she doesn’t possess the original Divas Championship, anymore. She also mentioned that butterfly-shaped WWE memorabilia,

“I was given the Divas title when I retired the Divas Championship at WrestleMania 32. So, I had the original title [Divas Championship] and from one apartment to another, to moving in with Manny, and moving into our townhome, I took it everywhere with me.

It was the only piece of memorabilia that I held on to but it got stolen. So, if I had that today, that Divas Championship would have meant so much to me and it still had the Nikki Bella plaques on it. I had the plaque of her name and everything.”

“I Was Drinking The Whole Time,” Ex WWE Total Divas Starcast Member Confesses

In 2015, Nikki Bella became the longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion. In her historic reign, she successfully defended the belt against Paige, Natalya, Naomi, AJ Lee, and more to conquer the Divas division. But ultimately, she came up short against Charlotte Flair who was the latest import on the main roster.

Alongside Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, she entered the main roster to start the Women’s Revolution. The Queen immediately began a feud with The Bella Twins for the title. Charlotte Flair eventually made history in Texas when she defeated Nikki Bella to win the WWE Divas Championship at Night of Champions, ending the reign of 305 days.
