Chelsea Green remains one of the regular female talents on WWE programming who was in attendance at the latest episode of Raw. Once the show was over, she found herself in an unexpected position after the staff of her hotel denied knowing her but also accused her of somewhat unthinkable.

The former Women’s Tag Team Champion took to social media to share this unfortunate turn of events where she was diagnosed with a mistaken identity after enjoying the Raw before Wrestlemania 40 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In a post that was accompanied by a photo, Chelsea Green compared her experience to a scene from the movie “Pretty Woman” where her actual wrestling profession was not identified by hotel staff,

“Man… one night you’re wrestling at Barclays Center, having the time of your life and the next you’re being kicked out of @FairmontHotels and accused of being an escort because of your outfit. Life is funny! Maybe next year I won’t celebrate Wrestlemania weekend at The Plaza Hotel LOL…”

Chelsea Green expressed disbelief after being accused of being an escort and subsequently asked to leave the Fairmont Hotel for her outfit choice. However, she kept her spirits up, maintained a light-hearted tone, and reflected on the irony of celebrating WrestleMania weekend at The Plaza Hotel, next year.

Chelsea Green’s husband has a shocking reaction to the escort incident

Surprisingly, Chelsea Green’s husband Matt Cardona supported the Fairmont Hotel’s perception and took to his X to comment that her wife did resemble the dress of a female escort,

“She kinda looks like an escort there.”

It seems like the mishap won’t be putting a stop to all the celebrations that Chelsea Green has scheduled for WWE’s biggest weekend of the year. She currently doesn’t have a match booked for WrestleMania 40 but that’s also not going to keep her spirits down.

Chelsea Green is back on the WWE roster after a short stint in 2021. Her return at the 2023 Royal Rumble happened under Triple H’s supervision as she was wanted back. Joining the Raw brand, she embraced the persona of a ‘Karen’ and eventually went on to become a one-time Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Piper Niven.
