Chelsea Green is no longer an employee of the WWE as she was one of the ten superstars who have been released from the company on April 15 of 2020. This was a traditional spring cleaning for the WWE where they release superstars who aren’t used, that much. Now, with the departure of Green, the unique idea of forming a group was ruled out.
Often, WWE has to rule out some of the ideas before bringing those on TV since not each idea gets the approval or proper execution. This reportedly included an idea to set up a female faction on the main roster comprising some of the NXT call-ups. They’ve eventually been waiting for the green signal for unlimited time and as a result, the whole planning was abandoned.

But with constantly changing plans, these days, the idea which could really be interesting was thrown out of the window.

Chelsea Green wasn’t properly utilized in her WWE career
A talented wrestler like Chelsea Green also had to leave the WWE without much utilization. Borne was called up to the main roster in 2020, but she hasn’t been used Garrett was also called up in 2020, but she only made an appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match back in January. The rumors stable could have changed things for good but it obviously didn’t happen.
Writers even met with the women about this faction idea, but it didn’t end up happening. After multiple tryouts, Chelsea Green signed with WWE in 2018 where she began training in the Performance Center and then made appearances in NXT. She made her SmackDown debut in November of 2020 only to break her wrist in a multi-person match after getting dropkicked off the apron by Liv Morgan.
