Chelsea Green made her only one appearance as a member of the Friday Night Smackdown roster back in November of last year. If reports were to go by then she was set to have a great run on the blue brand around Survivor Series 2020. Unfortunately for her, she suffered a wrist injury early on in her debut match on Friday Nights which sent her back to the shelf for months.

Since then, tons of reports were out providing her potential return update to WWE TV. But ultimately, Chelsea Green became one of several Superstars, to be released by the company back in April due to the COVID-19 budget cuts. She spent almost three years with the WWE but the tenure simply didn’t see her live up to her great potential.

Chelsea Green is amped up about spreading wings once her no-compete clause with the WWE gets over with new signings and a potential appearance for the Playboy Magazine cover. But she is still thankful for the fact that WWE let her used the Performance Center for rehabbing a devastating injury.

WWE allowed Chelsea Green to use the PC

While speaking on her Green With Envy podcast, Chelsea Green went into detail about the injury and how it happened to be. It was revealed that she had an injury scare over the weekend and WWE allowed her to use the Performance Center therapist to rehab her arm. This was possible since the injury took place in a WWE ring.

“For all those motherfu**ers out there that say I’m injury prone, I’m not. They took X-Rays at the ER. It’s definitely not broken. It’s not fractured, which I’m so thankful for. They think that I have a lot of scar tissue build up and maybe that is bothering my tendon, or I irritated my tendon,” Chelsea Green stated about her injury.

“Anyway, I reached out to WWE and they were kind enough to let me come into the Performance Center and use their Physical Therapist, and rehab my arm. Thank God. I’m very thankful for that because the injury happened in a WWE ring, so even though I was released, they still take care of that injury, thank God.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling News)

During the conversation on her podcast, Chelsea Green also talked about the upcoming all-women’s pay-per-view event as she wants to be in the main event of the pay-per-view. The all-women’s NWA pay-per-view is set to take place on August 28 which would be a monumental event for female pro wrestlers, all over the world. It’ll be interesting to see whether Green can arrive at that show as her no-compete clause with WWE would be over, by then.
