WWE has always been a dream workplace for Chelsea Green and she got to be a part of the promotion all the way back in 2018. But that initial stay got bombarded with injuries which led to a release during the COVID-19 pandemic era. She then finally got re-signed with the company and got the opportunity to live up to her full potential.

Starting from the 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Chelsea Green is featured regularly on WWE TV and this stint also allowed her to accomplish a lot in the company. However, she had to push back family planning due to her second stint in the big league but getting these new opportunities meant a lot to her as she was deprived of them the first time around.

While speaking on the Lightweights podcast, Chelsea Green admitted to having a negative mindset during her first run on NXT. But with the current positive mindset, she believes she could have turned challenging situations into new opportunities.

Chelsea Green wished to be more positive in her first WWE run

In her NXT tenure, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion felt she was given very little opportunity but she now realized the potential to make the most out of that situation. After her release, she made a return to the indies and transformed challenges into successes to realize how challenges could be converted into success.

“I really wasn’t given that many opportunities to thrive. But still, the opportunities I was given, I could have made something out of them. I don’t know how right now, but I absolutely could have knowing what I know now on the main roster of WWE and the three minutes that I get in the ring, you know, that’s been blown up to now,” Chelsea Green remembered.

“‘She’s the best rehire by Triple H.’ I only wrestle for two-to-three minutes. It’s just what I do on my days off that make people think that. It’s what I do with those three minutes.” (quotes courtesy Ringside News)

Since re-entering the WWE fray through the Royal Rumble match in 2023, Chelsea Green captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and brought relevancy to the title by keeping it on the news. She enjoyed a five-month reign, which came to an end after she and Piper Niven were defeated by Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
