First-Ever WWE Premium Live Event Being Planned For India
Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Clash at the Castle 2022 pay-per-view buyrate among the United States fans was around 8,000 while the usual buyrates for the local PPVs in the country remain much higher. It should be noted that most of the viewership for the WWE Network comes internationally while Peacock provides the viewership only in the United States.
It was also noted that since the PPV buys for Clash At The Castle 2022 were much lower around the United States, this should be the only reason why WWE may not conduct WrestleMania in the near future. According to WrestleTix, the event had 62,215 fans in attendance but the company slightly tweaked the numbers and showed it to be 62,296.
