WWE is putting up a major premium live event in the United Kingdom after two decades in the name of Clash At The Castle 2022. This is also going to be an outing from an international stadium for the company in the UK after a three-decade gap. The last such thing happened was in 1992 when WWE Summerslam was hosted from the Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Since Clash at the Castle 2022 is going to be yet another stadium event in WWE history, the company will gather all its star power together to make it a successful outing. Almost all the regular top superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will be seen performing on this coming night. As much as it sounds strange, AJ Styles isn’t on that list of performers.
Alexa Bliss Blasted For Claiming To Be Like Dakota Kai Ahead Of WWE Clash At The Castle 2022
The Phenomenal One himself broke the news of not getting booked at Clash at the Castle 2022 during an interview with Inside the Ropes. He called that “it’s a shame” that he won’t have the chance to feature in such a big PPV event, that’s one of the biggest PPVs of 2022.
“I would love to put on a show,” said Styles. “I don’t know that I have a story or anything, and it’s a shame. There are plenty of other performers that have great stories, so I’m not saddened by the fact that I won’t be there because I know you guys are going to have such a great night with so many great matches.”
Clash At The Castle 2022: Roman Reigns Possibly Dropping Undisputed WWE Title
Counting Clash at the Castle 2022, Styles will be missing three back-to-back PPV events in recent times. Previously, he wasn’t there to perform at Money in the Bank followed by SummerSlam. Obviously, the top WWE Raw Superstar is unhappy about the way of his booking. However, his comments didn’t really reveal the exact reason why he had to miss the summer PLEs.
