WWE has ended weeks of anticipation among the fans with a huge update on last night’s Smackdown. It confirmed that The Undertaker is finally showing up on WWE TV, live, in person. Next week’s episode of WWE Raw will witness him doing a special appearance on the verge of his big matchup for WWE’s next pay-per-view event. As reported earlier, the Undertaker will face Bill Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown on the 7th of June, 2019 at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Mick Foley To Come Out Of Retirement Against The Undertaker
This is a dream matchup for the fans that they thought of never seeing. But WWE is bringing back the two legends together due to their contract with Saudi Arabia sports authority. They have to deliver multiple PPVs in the future with headliner matches like this caliber. This is the reason why Goldberg is also coming back from retirement to compete in this one-off match, perhaps. He may not be part of WWE programming once the match goes over.

Speaking of Goldberg, we should mention that WWE did not confirm Goldberg for next week’s Raw, however. The upcoming dream match is happening without any sort of buildups that seems quite surprising to us. This is the first time that The Undertaker will be appearing to promote the one-of-a-kind bout on an episode of Monday Night Raw. The earlier speculation was that it should have happened much earlier.
Wrestling Observer noted that both The Undertaker and Goldberg were on the verge of appearing on WWE TV due to their scheduled match. It would have been an insurance policy for the WWE officials to pull op the dropped TV viewership numbers in recent times. But the rumors turned out to be false as there’s only one episode is left prior to Super ShowDown. It will be interesting to see whether Goldberg also shows up to have a face-to-face confrontation with him.

This is the first time that the Undertaker is coming back to action in a WWE ring since last year’s Crown Jewel PPV event. After almost two decades, he missed Wrestlemania 35 due to lack of relevant opponents. But he did make one appearance on the very next night on Raw targeting Elias in a one-off segment. We’d eagerly what he comes up with on the next appearance on this upcoming Monday Night.
