The top superstar seems to have taken some time off from his grueling schedule. PWInsider was able to confirm that the number-one babyface superstar from the SmackDown roster was pulled from a few upcoming WWE live events due to his back problems.

The live events from which Drew McIntyre was pulled off were Salisbury, MD, and Atlantic City, NJ. It was noted by the source that the popular superstar is not dealing with an injury, but he needs to get healed from the issues with his lower back that results in soreness. He reportedly had similar issues, last year as well but he went through rehabilitation and came back in time for the 2022 Royal Rumble.
Drew McIntyre last appeared on the August 12 episode of SmackDown and he also wrestled on the same night. But then fans were worried about not seeing her in the subsequent live events. But the backstage belief is that he will be fit to perform in the main event match in his home country of the UK.
While speaking to Adrian Hernandez on KXST 1140 The Bet Las Vegas, Drew McIntyre recently claimed that the backstage vibe in WWE has been positive before or after Vince McMahon retired. The Superstars just need to be motivated enough and get rid of their flaws to receive opportunities,
“The vibe is very positive, but I’d also be lying if I said the vibe wasn’t positive prior. I can’t remember a time where everybody was just down the whole time. Everybody knows that you just have to keep giving it your all, and hopefully, the opportunity will come. Everybody can’t be pushed and used at the same time.”
